GENERAL RULES AND GUIDELINES


CODE OF
CONDUCT

All members the league are expected to conduct themselves as mature adults. This
should be a place to meet new friends and have fun. Users are expected to play
realistic simulation football and treat other members with integrity and
respect. We expect all members to be open to feedback and improving their sim
game. Members who are caught cheating, team killing, who display a win at all
costs attitude will be removed from the league.

Allmembers should keep in mind that being competitive and having fun can go
hand-in-hand. I don’t want to be babysitter but I also do not want to create a
negative environment for our members. Treat others as you would hope they would
treat you and everyone’s experience will benefit because of it.

TWITCH

Each ember needs to have a Twitch account to be able to stream games . This will be required in playoffs or if there is reports of bad sportsmanship

DISCONNECT/LAG

If you lag out in the first or second qtr(more than 3 min on clock)and a users is up
21 points in those game the winning user can take the force W or play the game
from scratch 0-0 WINNING USERS CHOICES....If it is less than a 21 point deficit
in FIRST QTR and a disconnection/lag occurs you will restart game 0-0. In the
2nd qtr if disconnect/lag occurs with less than 3:00 MIN ON THE CLOCK and the
deficit ONLY is 14 points than winning users has a choice of takin there 14
point lead or restarting game 0-0. 3rd and 4th qtr if your winning by 14 points
winning user can take force W or again start game over 0-0 and in 4th qtr if
your winning by 10 or less you can just take force.

QUITING

You get a force loss if you quit NO EXCEPTIONS

SIM PLAY
GUIDELINES

The sim play guidelines lay out the basic rules for simulation football gameplay.

GAMEPLAY

There will be no changing your QB mechanics on edit player your QBs must stay with
there original mechanics. Don't roll out n wait for a receiver to come open if
it is a designed roll out play than I understand but do not use that Madden
glitch.

OFFENSE

NO HUDDLE:

- No Huddle is only allowed in the following situations.
- AnyQu arter - BACK 2 BACK once a drive
- 2nd Quarter - 2 min and under
- 4th Quarter - Down 8 or more
- 4th Quarter (3 Minutes and under)

4TH DOWN
RULE: [You can go for it if it fits one of these scenarios]

- Any Quarter - 4th and 1 or shorter, Anywhere on the field.
- Quarter 1 - 3 - Down by 17 points or more OR passed opponents 50 yard line and it's 4th
and 2 or less
- 4th Quarter - Any distance - but have to be losing
- OverTime - You can go for it at your own risk.

NO RUNNING UP THE SCORE

- ChewClock can be used with 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter or if your opponent
has conceded and asks for you to run it out to end game.
- You donot have run the ball all three plays and then punt. You can always attempt to
gain the first down but there is a difference between being aggressive and
trying to get first down to continue running clock. I do expect you to take a
knee at the end of the game and take your win if your opponent isn't calling
timeouts and you can run it down to zero time left. Two min left and no
timeouts, take a knee.

MIX IT UP


You should attempt to mix up your play as much as possible. You should not rely on
specific plays or formations over and over(ex:Toss and All Streaks). A real life coach has to mix up his offensive sets and play calls and you should too.
Relying on a go to play every third down or using the same routes or plays
repeatedly is not considered "sim" and should be avoided. Mix up your
plays and try to be as diverse as possible.




DISTRIBUTION

While exploiting bad matchups is part of the game and allowed, it should not be
abused in game. Madden does not allow users to set which cornerback is covering
which receiver like a real life coach could. So users should not look to exploit that AI deficiency over and over. A good sim user can and should spread the ball around and attack numerous parts of a defense. The goal of sim is to exploit realistic defensive mistakes and your opponent’s weakness, not abuse flaws in the game’s programming.

This means i dont want to QB's passing fro 500 yards every week or RB's running for 300 yards every week.   This would only make sense if you are losing every game


DEFENSE

ALIGNMENT

You arenot allowed to manually line a LB up on the line of scrimmage to prevent
blocking glitches. Any designed movements made by the game because of the play
call or “show blitz” are allowed.

MIX IT UP

Much like on offense, you are expected to mix up your defensive play calls. In real life,
a coach has to mix up his defensive sets and play calls to confuse the offense.
You should try to do the same. You can be a base Cover 2 or Cover 3 defense,
but you should mix in man-to-man, zone coverages and blitzes to keep the
offense guessing. Relying on the same play on every third down or using the
same formation over and over is not considered "sim" and should be
avoided. Mix up your plays and try to be as diverse as possible in your play
calling.

kicks are only allowed in the 4th quarter when trailing.

younger players: Max is 5 year Contracts and minimum is 1 year

PRACTICE
SQUAD

Users may claim up to as many players from another users practice squad as they please
BUT please be aware if you sign a player from someone practice squad that
player must be on your ACTIVE roster the whole season. You may not sign a
player from one practice squad to put them on YOUR practice. Not following this
rule could lead to suspension and/or removal from the league.

CHART

Each owner is responsible for setting their team's depth chart before each game.
Pausing the game to set your depth chart in the first half will not be allowed
except if you keep deep snapper or in the event of an injury.

Owners
must follow the guidelines for setting their depth chart:
FB >HB = A fullback may be inserted as a halfback at any time.
FB >TE = A fullback may be inserted as a tight end at any time
TE >FB = A tight end may be inserted as a fullback at any time
OL >OL = All offensive line positions are considered interchangeable
DL >DL = All defensive line positions are considered interchangeable
LB >LB = All linebacker positions are considered interchangeable.
OLB >DE = Allowed at any time.
DE >OLB = Allowed at any time.
DB >DB = All defensive back positions are considered interchangeable.

POSITION
CHANGE

Unrealisticposition changes will not be allowed in league so to make things fair 2 league
all position move that aren't the normal position change will be voted on by
league here are some examples: moving WR to TE, WR to FB,(HB to FB is fine BUT
only if HB is 229lbs or BIGGER) TE to WR or MLB/OLB to DT (OLB TO DE IS OK)


TRADERULES/ TRADE FEES

* ALLTRADES MUST BE APPROVED

* PLAYOFF
TEAMS your are not allowed 2 trade back into top 15 picks since those teams
earned their high draft pick.

* No trading FA just signed and no trading practice squad players you picked up from
other teams

* No Back to Back team trades (ex:you trade with Rams once and trade gets approved you
can't trade right back with them)

Each
owner will be responsible for meeting team minimum roster requirements and
maintaining a balanced roster by position. The roster requirements are as
